Tahuya
The tiny town of Tahuya is located 15 miles south of Belfair on Hood Canal’s North Shore Road overlooking the Great Bend in the canal and almost at the “end of the road.”
One of the best places for family, beach and boating fun, is the historic Summertide Resort just five minutes on-down the road. Summertide offers a mix of room, cottages and RV camping most of the year. There's a wonderful general store offering all the basic, wine, beer, ice, movies rental and a community campfire. Excellent boat launch and summertime moorage.

The Tahuya Recreation area has many small lakes, as well as access to the Hood Canal.
Hood Canal, one of only two inland fjords in the lower 48 states has depths ranging to 600 feet.
